WHO IS JOHN GALT?

Atlas Shrugged is a must-read book for every American who is involved in trying to bring about positive change in our society.  I read this book for the first time at age 19 and my life and my attitude were completely changed permanently since then because it had such a powerful affect on me.  It used to be taught in schools, until the liberals and socialists took them over.

  • Do not let the size of the book discourage you from reading it. Whether you are a skilled reader or not, the efforts that you put forth to read it, even if only a few pages at a time, will be well worth it.
  • You will find it easier to persevere in the face of all adversity after you have read Atlas Shrugged.
  • Encourage all the people you know to read Atlas Shrugged so America will once again be safe for Capitalism and the work and moral ethics that have made it the greatest nation in the world and deserving of that position.
  • After you have read the book, you may want to start asking people "Who Is John Galt?" and encourage them to read Atlas Shrugged to learn the intriguing answer.

The Sovereignty Education and Defense Ministry (SEDM) bases its ministry on this book, to a degree, as described at:

Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged v. SEDM Mission Statement -comparison of one of our favorite books to the SEDM Mission Statement

Below are some profound excerpts from that marvelous book.

The main theme of all of Ayn Rand's books is Laissez Faire Capitalism.  For further reading on this subject, please refer to:
