This work is the sum of over 10 years of saving quotations from my readings, thoughts that I felt worth saving for a rainy day. I have often been able to vigorously defend my positions and accurately criticize those of others by referring to this work.

This work is not intended to appear professional. I read what I felt like reading, not to create a comprehensive quotations-database. Sometimes I added my own statements, sometimes notes from others (you might even see yourself in here!).

My belief is that once a book is read, why forget it all and just have to read it later? Why know the thought, but you can’t quote it and can’t find where you read it? Thus I have, since I first got a computer, determined to create quotations for future use. I have not been disappointed in the results.

But I don’t believe in hoarding good stuff that can be used for God’s work, and so I freely offer this to anyone who can use it. You can use it as you wish, give it away to anyone who is studious enough to use it, so long as you never sell it.  Feel free to copy the entire book.  New material is added constantly, so come back and check this site occasionally for new content.  Please send your quotes to me and I’ll consider adding it to the work (full documentation please!!).
